Police rescue 10 kidnap victims in Zamfara

By Sani Muhammad Sani, GusauZamfara State Police Command in collaboration with the Peace and reconciliation Committee have secured the release of ten persons kidnapped by bandits who stormed Kaya village of Maradun LGA in the early hours of Tuesday.The victims, according to the Commands Public Relation Officer, SO Muhammad Shehu, include seven women and three men.READ ALSO:As Zamfara plays watchdogHe said they were abducted and taken to Sububu forest but later released in tandem with the ongoing peace process.All the rescued kidnapped victims have been debriefed by the Police and handed over to the sole Administrator of Maradun local government hale and harty, who will reunite them with their families, he said.
