Police Arrest 5 In Lagos For Selling 2-Week-Old Baby For 3 Million

<blockquote><b>No fewer than five suspects have been</b> reportedly <b>arrested in connection with the abduction and illegal sale of a two-week-old baby boy in Ajah area of Lagos State</b>.<br><br><b>The suspects, including a female guardian entrusted with the teenage mothers welfare</b>, were apprehended following a detailed investigation by the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).<br><br>According to a statement issued by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin on Thursday, the case originated from a complaint made at the Ajah Division on May 5, 2025.<br><br>The report detailed how a <b>16-year-old girl, identified only as Miss Happiness, became pregnant under undisclosed circumstances.
