Published by Linda Ikeji on Sat, 28 Jun 2025

Barely 24 hours before the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has raised concern over the low number of candidates who have printed their examination notification slips.JAMB has scheduled the mop-up exam for Saturday, June 28, 2025, targeting candidates who missed the main UTME. However, in a statement on Friday, JAMB revealed that only 12,442 out of 98,232 scheduled candidates have so far printed their slips just 12.6%.We strongly encourage all candidates, particularly those who missed the main examination, to print their notification slips promptly. This is a rare opportunity for them to participate in this years examination, JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin said. The board warned that failure to print the slip means forfeiting the chance to sit the exam.JAMB also assured that it has deployed both human and material resources to ensure all registered candidates have the opportunity to take the test.We are closely monitoring the printing process to determine the number of candidates who will show up. Once again, we urge all candidates to proceed immediately to print their slips for the examination scheduled for tomorrow, the statement added. The post 2025 UTME mop-up: 85,790 candidates yet to print exam slips JAMB appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
