On the very first day of production, she got the shocking news that fellow actress, Mummy Surutu, had lost her child.The emotional weight of the moment broke her.I was confused. I didnt know what to do, she said. She had already been paid to appear in the movie, but the news of her loss hit me so hard that I started shouting. That was how I lost my voice.At first, she thought it was just a temporary issue a blocked throat that would clear up in days. But weeks passed, then months. Four months later, her voice still hadn't returned to normal. That was when it dawned on her that something had gone terribly wrong.I tried everything, she said. I used medication, spiritual intervention, even anointing oil. But by the time my voice returned, it was no longer mine. It came back tiny and cracked.The actress admitted that the experience left her feeling helpless and frustrated.Its painful when you want to express yourself and you cant.
