Lagos Majority Leader salutes workers

By Dare Odufowokan,Assistant EditorThe Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA), has saluted the commitment of Nigerian workers to nation building in spite of the difficulties they encounter in the discharge of their duties. He said this in his message to commemorate this years Workers Day. The legislator representing Ikorodu Constituency 1 in the state assembly urged Nigerian workers to keep hope alive and joy cometh soon.Read Also:Alleged Rape: Lagos lists possible charges against Baba IjeshaWorkers are the strength of any economy.And the strength of any economy determines the well being of the citizens of such country or nation. Workers toil and moil to keep the economy going, simply put, they grow the economy and contribute massively to the wellbeing of the citizenry. However, no nation can adequately compensate for the sweat of its workers and some of the workers will have to continue to strive to break through.Today, I identify with all workers within the demography called Nigeria and commend your tolerance and perseverance in the face of harrowing economic challenges. God will reward your efforts in a manner commensurate to your efforts. So, dont despair, continue to keep the struggle alive and surely victory is certain for you. Happy Workers Day to all workers of Ikorodu Division, Lagos state and Nigeria, the lawmaker said.
