He added that he's unsure when his next start will be, per Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times.Entering Saturday, McCarthy had made three starts, going 2-0 with a 4.50 earned run average.The Dodgers aren't blessed with a wealth of starting pitching beyond Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke. Brett Anderson has always been plagued by injuries, while the other two pitchers to record a start for LA in 2015 are David Huff and Mike Bolsinger.McCarthy isn't a vital piece of the rotation, but the Dodgers will feel his absence as long as he is out.
