Dodgers' Cody Bellinger Hits for Cycle vs. Miami Marlins

Los Angeles Dodgers star rookie Cody Bellinger has added another feather to his cap, completing his first career cycle with a triple in the seventh inning against the Miami Marlins.The Dodgers tweeted out a humorous GIF after Bellinger hit the triple:Per Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times, Bellinger is the first Dodger to hit for a cycle since Orlando Hudson in 2009.Per ESPN Stats & Info, "Cody Bellinger is the 5th @Dodgers player to hit for the cycle since World War II." The four others were Hudson, Jackie Robinson, Gil Hodges and Wes Parker.The cycle has been a common occurrence in Major League Baseball this season. Bellinger is the fifth player to accomplish the feat, joining Wil Myers, Trea Turner, Carlos Gomez and Nolan Arenado.Bellinger got his cycle with a hit in each of his first four at-bats against the Marlins. He singled in the top of the first inning, homered in the third and doubled in the fourth before getting the triple in the seventh.Since being promoted from Triple-A on April 25, Bellinger has been an unstoppable force in the Dodgers lineup. The 22-year-old entered Saturday's game hitting .261/.341/.613 in 71 games and was named to the All-Star Game.
