Eagles Reportedly Trade OL Allen Barbre to Broncos for 2019 7th-Round Pick

The Philadelphia Eagles were able to salvage something from offensive tackle Allen Barbre by reportedly trading him to the Denver Broncos for a future draft pick. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Eagles will receive a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2019 from the Broncos for Barbre.The Eagles had originallyplannedto release Barbre before the Broncos stepped up with a trade proposal for the veteran offensive lineman.Barbre was one of the top performers on a terrific Eagles offensive line last season. He ranked 11th out of 35 qualified guards in 2016, perPro Football Focus.Bleacher Report'sJason Colereported in March Barbre received permission from the Eagles to seek a trade. Despite his solid performance in 12 starts last season, he was expendable for the team due to their depth on the offensive line.Isaac Seumalo appeared in nine games as a rookie in 2016 and Chance Warmack is looking to rebuild his value after injuries limited him to just two games with the Tennessee Titans last season.Barbre gives the Broncos' offensive line some much-needed depth at left guard behind Ronald Leary. He's also got experience at tackle to support Ty Sambrailo and rookie Garrett Bolles.
