7th AHSGIWL: Okonjo Iweala To Adress Congress

Minister of Finance Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, willnext Mondayaddress the international community on the investment opportunities in the country.The address will be on the sidelines of the seventh African Heads of State and Government Investment Working Lunch at the New York Stock Exchange in New York in the United States.The Working Lunch will bring together African Heads of State and high-level government officials with the global investment community and the private sector. Philanthropists, senior representatives from the African Union Commission and the United Nations, as well as members of the media will also participate.It aims to develop investment partnerships that support Africas transformative agenda and promote regional economic integration. The event will foster an effective dialogue between business and government leaders on measures and policies that contribute to enhancing Africas attractiveness for institutional capital allocations and foreign direct investment, as well as intra-African investment.Okonjo-Iweala will address a Ministerial dialogue alongside Moulay Hafid Elalamy, Minister of Trade, Investment and Digital Economy of of Morocco; Aiuba Cuereneia, Minister of Planning and Development of Mozambique; Claver Gatete, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning of Rwanda; Mankeur Ndiaye, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Senegal; and Henry Rotich, Cabinet Secretary National Treasury of Kenya.
