CAF U17 Championship: Nigeria battles Niger, Guinea, Zambia in Group A

Nigeria will face northern neighbours Niger, Guinea and Zambia in the group stage of the 11th African U-17 Championship which runs from 15 February to 1 March 2015.The draw ceremony of the 11th edition of the biennial championship was held on Sunday, 21 December 2014 in Cairo, Egypt.Nigeria will slug it out with hosts Niger Republic in the tournament opener on 15 February 2015 at the General Seyni Kountche Stadium in Niamey.Guinea and Zambia will face-off in the other Group A match later in the day at the same venue.On the second day, two-time winners, Nigeria will face Guinea on 18 February 2015 whilst Zambia battles The Menas of Niger both at the General Seyni Kountche Stadium.On 21 February 2015, hosts Niger will wrap up their campaign at the group phase against Guinea at the General Seyni Kountche Stadium whilst Nigeria and Zambia sort things out at the Municipal Stadium. Holders Cote d'Ivoire, South Africa, Mali and Cameroon make up Group B to be based at the Municipal Stadium also in Niamey.The semi-finalists will represent the continent at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile.
