Globe Motors extends after sales network for Hyundai commercial vehicles

Published by Guardian on Fri, 18 Nov 2011

AS part of measures to facilitate ongoing network expansion of Hyundai Commercial vehicles, Globe Motors has pledged to sustain after sales training for staff.According to the Managing Director of Globe Motors, Mr. Victor Oguamalam, the measure is designed to bring vehicles closer to more customers, adding that the company is working very hard to establish the brand in Nigeria.Speaking recently, Oguamalam said, 'We are ready with after sales support, which is what Globe Motors is known for in our over two decades of existence in the automobile business.'We are training our technical staff in South Africa, Korea and locally in order to ensure that our customers get the best out of their Hyundai buses and trucks.'He explained that not a single complaint was received about units sold in the last few months, which he added is an indication of the brand's high quality.Making reference to the recently concluded Abuja Motor Fair, Oguamalam described their participation at the event as a positive outing that was aimed at creating awareness for the brand. He said the participation enabled them to have direct contact with their customers and prospective customers, to know their perception of the brand.Oguamalam was quoted in a press statement as saying, 'As you can see, this is the first time the commercial vehicle arm of Hyundai is participating in the Abuja motor show with full range from buses to trucks. He added: 'We have been getting very positive response from the visitors. Before now, we were not known with the Hyundai Commercial vehicle brand, but our participation at the show have enabled us to have direct contact with many prospective customers and all we have to do is follow up on the contacts.'He said Hyundai will continue to offer discounts to those who met them at the fair ground as a way of appreciating them and building on the relationship they started during the fair.Oguamalam identified the buses and small trucks as the range that had the highest enquiries during the fair, adding that they would give Nigerians the best quality vehicles at very competitive price. He also described their future in Nigeria as very bright with the brand given its acceptability worldwide.'We have bright chances to succeed with the Hyundai Commercial vehicles in Nigeria because the Hyundai brand is a very big one that is not only known in Nigeria but all over the world.'The Hyundai brand has been tried, tested and found to be one of the best brands across the globe presently, so we are dealing with a world class brand that has great potentials to be on top in Nigeria.Oguamalam described the Hyundai Commercial vehicle line up as a complete range, adding that it covers all aspects of human activities from household to ambulance, municipal and construction vehicles.
