Yuguda, Maigari for Super Cup

Organisers of the Nigeria National League Super Cup in Bauchi, said they have mapped out additional measures to ensure a hitch-free closing ceremony at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium.Nigeria Football Federation President, Aminu Maigari, who arrived at the venue on Friday, said he was impressed with the show, charging the NNL to ensure it sustains the tempo in the coming season.I am happy with the way the board members have started. If they continue this way, we are going to see a better national league from the 2012 season. The Bauchi Super Cup has been wonderful, Maigari stated.Officials of the four clubs featuring in the competition praised the organisation of the championship saying it would help bring back the fans to the stands.Organisation has been perfect. We just hope the league board will carry this into the regular season, declared an impressed coach Ogbeide of Akwa United.The competition comes to a close on Saturday (today) with Bauchi State Governor Issa Yuguda attending the final. Home side Wikki Tourists will in the first game face Rising Stars of Akure, while Akwa United will play in the final against Jigawa Golden Stars at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium. Winners will be rewarded with giant trophies and cash prizes.
