C'River community sitting on a time bomb over land

Henshaw Town in Calabar South Local Government Area of Cross River State seems set for an implosion following allegations of encroachment into the community school land by some unscrupulous elements.The Nigerian Compass on Saturday learnt that two prominent members of the community had allegedly connived with themselves, shared and sold part of the land along Egerton Street.It was also gathered that the disputed parcel of land was donated to the colonial government by the Ewa Ekeng Family of the community for the building of the primary school. Later on, more portions of land were also donated for a football field and a school farm.
