Wofun, Olodo residents appeal for road rehabilitation

RESIDENTS ofWofun area,Olodo road, Ibadan, Oyo State, have appealed to both the stateand the Federal governments to rehabilitate the Olodo-Iwo road.According to a resident, Rasheed Ajao, who spoke with the Community News, the road has gone bad for two years, but all efforts to get the attention of both state and the Federal governments to fix the road had proved abortive.Ajao explained that the road has now gone beyond patching because it has been destroyed and dotted by several potholes caused by erosion.Another resident, Mr Wasiu Adeojo also tasked the Oyo State government to take quick action on the rehabilitation of the road, 'because it is causing traffic hold-up every time and this does not make us happy,' he lamented.He said if care was not taken, it would cause serious accident, saying, to protect the lives of the people, it was better to take care of the road on time before the next raining season.
