1st Oando Games ends today

IN the past one week, it has been thrill and glamour at the Apapa Club, Lagos, as members battle for honour in the maiden Oando Games tournament.The tourney had began with a 1 kilometer Walk around Apapa last weekend before the contestants took to the battle ground in all the six sports section of the club.The Games and Sports Secretary of Apapa Club, Dozie Udeze, told The Guardian yesterday that that the Oando Games was a successful one, adding that extending its sponsorship to other sections of the club gave the people an opportunity to show his or her skills.Udeze hinted that members of Apapa club used the Oando Games to fine-tune their preparation for this year's Quadrangular Games, which will take place next month in the state.The maiden Oando Games saw the contestants battled in team and individual sports such as Tennis, Squash, Table Tennis, Darts, Snooker, Scrabble, Chess and Ayo.
