Thornberry takes over Tinapa Hotel

Cross River State Government has confirmed Thornberry Africa as the new manager of the famed Amber Tinapa, which is now under a new identity known as Tinapa Lakeside Hotel.The Special Adviser to the Cross River State Governor on Tourism, Mr. Gabe Onah, gave the confirmation.He, however, noted that Thornberry Africa was only managing the hotel and had not acquired any shareholding in it.Thornberry Africa, owned by famous hotelier, Mr. David Church, has its operational headquarters in South Africa.Also, an e-reservation officer with Thornberry, Mr. Geraldine Bocco, confirmed that Thornberry Africa is the new managers of Tinapa Lakeside.Thornberry has further confirmed the development on its website, where it advertised the new addition to its portfolio of hotels.It said, The hotel is contemporary classic with modern amenities. Perfectly positioned in the heart of the Tinapa business and leisure resort, Tinapa Lakeside Hotel is the ideal venue for a variety of events from large scale functions, team buildings, small intimate dinners and all manner of leisure activities. Every visitor to Tinapa business and leisure resort will be spoilt for choice Thornberry said on its website.Thornberry Africa is advising the owners of Lakeside Tinapa Hotel, Tinapa Business Resources Limited, regarding management, providing supervisory and quality control for the hotel. They dont own shares. Onah explained.
