Businessman emerges winner of Skye Bank promo

A Kano -based businessman, Mr. Uchenna Okeke, has won the Toyota Corolla star prize at the Kano zonal draws of Skye Bank Plcs ongoing savers promo to bring the number of winners in the car category to five.According to a statement by the bank on Friday, Okeke emerged the lucky winner of the brand new car at an electronic draw conducted in Kano.The statement quoted Okeke as saying, "This promo has transformed my life forever. My emergence as winner of the car is the greatest surprise of my life.Similarly, a Yola- based worker, Mr. Fortune Felix, also won the cash prize of N1m while several other customers of the bank won various items like LCD Television, generator, air conditioner, household items, among others.Speaking at the draw, the banks General Manager in charge of Retail Banking, Mrs Arinola Kola-Daisi, listed the rationale for the promo as the need to encourage the savings culture among Nigerians, the need to reward the customers as well as to increase the capacity of the customers to achieve their life ambitions through savings.She noted that 30 millionaires had so far been produced since the promo stared five months ago, adding that opportunities still existed for those who wished to take the wise decision to save with the bank.According to her, savers are required to save a minimum of N25,000 in a month in order to be eligible for the promos monthly draws.The representative of the National Lottery Commission, Mr. Baba Adamu, commended the bank for the promo, saying that the bank should continue to maintain the transparent nature of the draw and set the pace for the others.
