Dimension Data, Radwin partner on wireless broadband

Radwin, a leading backhaul and broadband wireless solutions provider, in partnership with Dimension Data, has introduced its latest wireless broadband offerings, the Radwin 5000 High Capacity Point-to-Multipoint solution and R-Planner for network design and planning.The Regional Sales Manager, West Africa, Radwin, Mr. Carlos Martinez, said in a statement on Monday that Radwin had a wide portfolio of Point-to-Point and PTMP solutions that fulfilled the needs of operators and private networks in Africa.He noted that the solutions allowed operators to extend their network footprints quickly and cost-effectively, adding that it also enabled private networks to eliminate expensive leased line charges and benefit from high capacity connectivity."Together with Dimension Data, we are making our PtP and recently launched Radwin 5000 Point-to-Multipoint solutions available to the market, and offering all servicesfrom the initial network design stage to deployment and post-sale support," he saidAccording to him, the Radwin 5000 HPMP is targeting the Nigerian market with growing demands for greater broadband capacity, adding that the solution had both functional and aesthetic value with increased speeds of 50 millions of bits per second, 20Mbps and 10Mbps (depending on product) net throughput.
