Landlady, son docked for throwing out tenant's property

accused damaged the household items belonging to one Miss Anne Ofoegbu, worth N213,500.Raji said that the accused acted in a manner likely to cause the breach of peace by throwing out the plaintiff's property out of her room and padlocked the same room.He said that the offence, which was committed on November 17 at No 6, Unity close, Coker- Orile Iganmu, Lagos, contravened Sections 249, 451 and 516 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Lagos State.They pleaded not guilty to the charges.Magistrate A. O. Gbajumo granted the accused bail in the sum of N100,000 and adjourned the case to December 23 for hearing.
