THERE are several things that Nigerians learnt from their former colonial overlords ' the British.HAVING gained independence in the last 51 years however, it is a thing of celebration that Nigerians now have a lot to teach their former teachers.A British citizen working with Energy Solution Limited in Abuja, probably on the invitation of a foreign investor-seeking government officer, Khomeini Bhukari, went out 'late' on October 29, 2011, 'around 6 p.m.' At the end of his relaxation at a park in the federal capital, two policemen kindly led him aside to lecture him on the dangers inherent in venturing out so late for whatever reasons. At the end of the lecture, he was required to pay for the tutorials with the N.2 million and N1.3 million worth Breitling wristwatch he had on him.BHUKARI should be grateful to the two policemen, Daniel Marcus and Sunday Epah, as several Nigerians have had to pay for such tutorials with their lives. Shame, he would not be opportune to ask Dele Udoh and a host of others who attended similar tutorial classes.IS someone wondering how easy it is to go around carry N.2m in your pocket' That is all part of having learnt to be a 'good British-Nigerian'.
