Obasanjo wanted to be Nigeria's Mugabe, says Atiku

FORMER Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has said that Nigerians should continue to congratulate themselves for stopping the evil agenda of former President Olusegun Obasanjo who wanted to become the country's Robert Mugabe through the Third Term plot.The tenure elongation project was killed on May 16, 2006. Mugabe, the Zimbabwean President has been in the saddle since 1980. An octogenarian, he has refused to hand over power.Atiku declared that Obasanjo really wanted to become a life president through the third term plot but was stopped by former President of the United States (U.S.), George Bush, and the determination of Nigerians.
