Bring us closer to govt, residents tell traditional ruler

residents of Agbado in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State have tasked the Alagbado of Agbado, Oba Adedayo Shyllon to bring the community closer to the government to enable the people derive dividends of democracy.A resident of the area, Bayo Adeoye, who spoke to the Community News, explained that the major problem facing the community was that that area was far from the seat of government in Abeokuta and that the community lacked strong representation in governmentHe called on the newly installed traditional ruler to use his connection within the government to bring social amenities to the area.'As at present, we lack almost everything, No water, no good road and poor electricity supply. We want our new Oba to bridge the gap between the community and the state governments.He lamented that most of the roads in the area were not motorable, stating that the government must start working on the roads before the commencement of the rains. Our Oba should help us.We are still expecting the impact of Amosun administration in Agbado.
