Fashola is insensitive to our plight

Residents of Odi-Olowo, in Mushin Local Government Area of Lagos State, have accused the state government of being insensitive to their plight.Hoodlums and miscreants have been disturbing the peace of the area since last year, fighting over supremacy.A community leader in the area, Chief Tajudeen Adio, told Community News that residents of the area now sleep with their two eyes widely open.'Hoodlums now attack innocent citizens with impurity .There is no family in this area that has not been affected by the activities of these boys. They kill, maim and destroy property as well,' he said.While conducting Community News around the area, he said banks and other companies in the area now pay security levies to the area boys, yet, they attack their customers.He said the state goverment was not doing enough to cub the menace of these boys.'We have appealed to the state government through letters, but nothing has been done to checkmate the activities of these bad boys.'Alhaji Adio said the area was usually in problem whenever there was misunderstanding among the area boys. 'Whenever there is quarrel among them, especially when they fail to agree on an issue which has to do with money or ladies, they often vest their anger on the residents. We are the one who usually bear the brunt'.
