Etsu Patigi commends Saraki, Gov Ahmed

Etsu Patigi, AlhajiIbrahim Chatta,has, on behalf of the people of patigi Local Government, thanked the former governor of Kwara State, Senator Bukola Saraki and his sucessor, Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, for an electioneering promise fulfilled on Patigi-Kpada road.The royal father said the entire people of the area were appreciative of the political leader and the governor for the joint efforts at taking Kwara State to greater heights through people-oriented projects.Alhaji Chatta, who said the Patigi-Kpada road had been abandoned few years ago after an initial diversion from the original concept, added that the contractor had now moved to site and started the reconstruction of the road.The royal father, who pledged the people's support and co-operation to Governor Ahmed-led administration, said the road serves people in almost two wards of the local government and contributes to socio-economic development of the area.Meanwhile, the Deputy Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Professor Mohammed Yisa, an indigene of the area, has described the recent reconciliation of members of the PDP and the ACPN in the state and indeed Patigi Local Government as a monumental development for all.Professor Yisa, who chaired the reconciliation meeting at Patigi said the meeting which was attended by members of the two parties, ended on a cordial note.He said the meeting resolved that the PDP in the present dispensation was different from what it was a year ago, adding that it was all about all-encompassing development, equitable distribution of dividends of democracy, carrying everyone along, and enjoined returnees to blend well in the new PDP.The lawmaker said the new PDP is a disciplined party and admonished all members to abide by the rules and regulations of the party to further move Kwara State forward.
