Tambuwal: No to selective budget implementation

MEMBERS of the House of Representatives yesterday expressed displeasure over what they called the late submission of the 2012 Budget proposal by President Goodluck Jonathan with a warning that the Executive should, henceforth, refrain from acts capable of frustrating full budget implementation.The House expressed its determination to move the annual presidential budget from what it described as 'realm of mere rhetoric to one of comprehensive workable documents that will have direct impacts on lives of ordinary Nigerians'.The lower chamber also gave indications that the budget would be monitored in such a manner that it would break the jinx of low budget implementation usually recorded in the past.
