Ogun PDP elders disown group, committees

The Ogun East Peoples Democratic Party Elders Forum has denied the existence of a youth forum purportedly headed by one Olowoporoku Azeez.In a statement on Thursday by the Vice-Chairman of the Elders Forum, Alhaji Agboola Alausa, the elders said the group only existed in the wild imagination of some inconsistent characters.He described the group as an amorphous organisation hurriedly created by some busy bodies who are not courageous enough to reveal their true identities just for the purpose of tendering a needless apology to a supposed leader of the party who has failed to live up to expectations.In the same vein, notable leaders of the PDP in the state have distanced themselves from the action of a former chairman of harmonised state executive, Chief Dayo Soremi, who recently set-up to zoning and disciplinary committees, describing same as fictitious.In separate correspondence to the PDP National Vice Chairman South-West, Alhaji Taju Oladipo, the trio of Senator Dipo Odujinrin, Mr. Tony Ojesina and Asiwaju Oluyomi expressed disappointment that they were not part of the factional meetings of the former state chairman.
