Uduaghan proposes N383.390bn budget for 2012

Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, on Wednesday presented 2012 budget proposal of N383.390 billion to the State House of Assembly for approval. The budget tagged: Budget of sustainable development, was N21.08 billion higher than the 2011 budget of N361.9 billion which represented 5.94 percent. Uduaghan, who said the budget was predicated on result-oriented strategy of moving away from usual budget practice of mere allocation of figures from a practical structured and robust approach that can sustain development, noted that the budget was crafted to address the challenges that have confronted the government over the years.Add your comment
