Dont politicise Onokpites murder, Delta commissioner tells CPP

Controversy has continued to trail the death of Ogbe Onokpite, former gubernatorial candidate of the Citizens Popular Party (CPP) in Delta State, who was murdered in Warri recently. However, the family of the deceased politician had petitioned the Inspector General of Police and other relevant authorities alleging that the deceased was shot dead by the policemen who had taken him into custody, after his arrest on November 26, 2011. While the police in the state had come up with a different version of the incident, the state government has called for full investigation into his death even as the state commiserates with the Onokpite family.Add your comment
