Kwara PDP asks NJC to dismiss ACN's claims over judgement

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Dahiru Musdaphar and the National Judicial Council (NJC) to disregard a call by Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) to probe last week's appeal court rulings which upheld the dismissal of election petitions by the opposition party in Kwara State.The appeal court, Ilorin division, had dismissed all the claims by ACN over the election of Senator Bukola Saraki and two other PDP candidates and upheld the decision of the first tribunal that the election did not contravene the law.
