FG approves new executive directors for NPA

The Federal Government has approved the appointment of three new acting executive directors for the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).Chief Michael Ajayi, the NPA General Manager, Public Affairs, announced this in a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday, in Lagos.The statement said that Mr Sotonye Etomi, the former General Manager, Eastern Ports, was appointed as the Acting Executive Director, Marine Operations.It said that Mr Habib Abdullahi, the Overseas Representative of NPA, would now act as the Executive Director, Finance and Administration.It stated that Mr Sunny Nwobi, the former General Manager, Physical Planning, was appointed as acting Executive Director, Engineering and Technical Services.It said that the reconstitution of the NPA executive management was sequel to the expiration of the tenure of Mr Yusuf Haruna, the former Executive Director, Engineering and Technical Services.The statement also said that Mr Adetola Atekoja, former Executive Director, Finance and Administration and Ms Aina Eghareva, former Executive Director, Marine Operations had completed their tenure.
