Odunmade, Solumade, others fear pending flood

Residents of OdumadeSolumade Phase 2, Marc-aulay, in IgbogboBayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) may experience serious flooding come rainy season.The people have therefore, called on the Lagos State government to come to their rescue since their plea to the land speculators had proved abortive.The major water channel in the area has been completely blocked as land speculators have sold the channel to somebody who has blocked the water channel.Community News gathered that as a result of this, some buildings experienced flooding during the first downpour in Lagos recently.People living in the area are now apprehensive of imminent flooding that might occur when it rained, as flood is already building up in the area.
