Presidency denies drop in volume of fuel imports

The Presidency has denied a claim that there was a drop in the volume of fuel imports. While assuring Nigerians that in the likelihood of fuel scarcity, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has enough petroleum products to last a minimum of 33 days, the government urged consumers not to panic over the rumoured imminent fuel scarcity.A source, who doesnt want to be named, stated that the claim by some unscrupulous elements was meant to cause panic among Nigerians, assuring that the government will eradicate fuel scarcity.
