Fashion for charity

FEDERAL Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, recently hosted fashionistas, designers and those in ancillary businesses from different parts of the country who converged for the Creative Focus exhibition.Organised by Omowunmi Imoukhuede through her outfit Urban Dice Designs, the event, a social enterprise, showcased creative and growing innovative businesses in Nigeria.It also served as a platform to relax, bond, mingle and as well get feedbacks from members of the public on the show.Part of the proceeds from the sales generated from the event went to Facing Africa ' Noma (cancrum oris), a not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation committed to combating the spread and eradication of diseases.Committed to the cause of the organisers, this year's show was sponsored by Fidelity Bank, Blue Water Development, Bookworm, Niedaland, ONB, Koko Foundation, LS Scientific, Svengali and Pussy Energy Drink.
