Osun:Ajenisunwa wants secondary school

An appeal has gone to Osun State governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, by residents of Ajenisunwa in Osogbo Local Government area of the state, to establish a secondary school for the community. The residents bemoaned a situation whereby their children and wards have to go to neigbouring towns for their secondary school education.They said the hardship the children went through before they got to the secondary school was too much , as they had to trek about eight kilometers to the school and back home, since there was no means of transportation because of the deplorable condition of the road .Speaking on behalf of the community, Mr Yisa Alamu Kegbe, said they would appreciate it , if the community could get a secondary school to save their children from the hardship.He added that, tarring the road that leads to the village would also ease transportation, adding that the road got bad during the rainy season, and thereby prevented them from moving out of their community .Mr Kegbe said the poor condition of the road hindered them from taking their farm produce to the market , and affected their means of livelihood since they were predominantly farmers.
