Copa America 2015: TV, Live Stream Schedule, Predictions for Saturday Fixtures

Published by Bleacher Report on Sat, 20 Jun 2015

Argentina need to pick up a convincing victory over Jamaica in their final Group B match at the 2015 Copa America in Chile on Saturday to give themselves the best chance of advancing as group winners. They currently sit on four points, tied with Paraguay, who meet Uruguay on Saturday in a battle that will likely determine second place.Third place may also be enough to reach the knockout stages, as the two best third-place finishers from the three groups go through to the quarter-finals.Read on for the full Saturday schedule for the Copa America, predictions for each fixture and live streaming information.Live streaming available in the U.S. viabeINSports Connectand in the UK viaPremier Player. With Paraguay and Uruguay kicking off first on Saturday, Argentina will know what they need to do in order to top the group, while Jamaica's chances of progressing may have alreadybeen dashed. This is the state of the group ahead of the final fixtures, per Copa America 2015:Argentina and Paraguay are identically tied at the top, so if the latter prevail over Uruguay, Gerardo Martino's men must better their winning margin. However, a draw between Uruguay and Paraguay looks the most likely outcome, which could benefit both sides in terms of qualification for the knockout rounds. Both sides' Copa form has been very similar, with each only edging out Jamaica 1-0.Uruguay lost to Argentina 1-0, while Paraguay rallied brilliantly against the 2014 World Cup finalists to claim a point, having been 2-0 down.Urugauy have struggled so far in the tournament without the suspended Luis Suarez, and Edinson Cavani needs to step up if they are to proceed past the group stage and defend the trophy, per Ligue 1 journalist Jonathan Johnson:The pre-tournament favourites to relieve Uruguay of their crown were the Argentinians, given their devastating attack, which includes Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria and Sergio Aguero.Their task against Jamaica is not a tough one, but they need to add more rhythm and structure to their game if they are going to win their first Copasince 1993.Laboured performances against Paraguay and Uruguay were not overly impressive, and they need some momentum heading into the quarter-finals.They may also need a convincing victory for top spot, though it is unlikely to be more than a necessary one- or two-goal margin. The Jamaicans proved they are staunch in defenceduring their first two group games, but they will surely buckle when faced withMessi et al.Complacency will be unacceptable for Argentina, and anything other than a fine performance against Jamaica will see their favourites tag called into doubt.
