Ikoyi Club's lady golfers launch new committee

LADY golfers at Ikoyi Club 1938 (golf section) will host a one-day competition today at the lush course of Ikoyi Golf Club in Lagos to formally launch the new ladies committee.The event that will feature 40 ladies and 20 men is aimed at creating a fresh relationship between the new committee members and the lady golfers.Lady Captain of the club, Yinka Arowajoye, said the competition, which is the first since she took over as captain on February 14, is just one of the many competitions arranged for the lady golfers of the club.She promised to carry every member along, adding that she was poised to take the game to a greater height and create more fun for all lady golfers of the club.
