SHOOTING Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan has signed a partnership deal with one of the biggest brewing companies in the world, Guinness Nigeria Plc.The deal was signed by both parties during a ceremony held at the conference centre of the office of the Head of Service, Oyo state government house, secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan on Wednesday.In his remark, the Director, marketing and Innovation Guinness Nigeria Plc, Mr Ruairi Twomey, said, "It is a privilege to have the opportunity to be the official brewery of 3SC. We also appreciate the fact that we are given the opportunity to be associated with 3SC which is one of the most supported club in the world".While reacting to the new development, Chairman of 3SC board, Mr Toyin Akintunde, assured Guinness that "We will keep our own part of the deal and I urge you to also keep your own part in order for us to achieve the desired result".He further stated that, "I promise you that your newly-introduced lager, Dubic, will be made more popular now that you have entered into partnership with us". Present at the event were the commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo state, Dapo Lam-Adesina, 3SC Club Manager, Mutiu Adepoju and other board members of the club. The implication of this new development, is that it will be all Dubic affair at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan as both 3SC and Enyimba Football Club of Aba would be putting on jerseys with Dubic boldly written on them as Guinness have also signed a partnership agreement with Enyimba FC also on Tuesday.
