Derek Carr, Michael Crabtree, Andre Holmes Post-Week 8 Fantasy Advice

The Oakland Raiders are for real, and Sunday's 34-20 win over the New York Jets proved it.Behind Derek Carr's arm and the receiving stylings of Michael Crabtree and Andre Holmes, the Raiders have reeled off back-to-back victories and improved to 4-3.Here's how each player's fantasy stock is trending following Sunday's impressive outing.Derek CarrCarr didn't look like a safe fantasy play entering Sunday, but he made the Jets' fourth-ranked pass defense look pedestrian.Now, he looks like an every-week QB1. After carving up the Jets and tying his career high with four touchdown passes, Carr has thrown for seven scores and no interceptions over the past two weeks.Excluding his abbreviated Week 1 showing against the Cincinnati Bengals, Carr has thrown for at least 300 yards in 50 percent of his appearances this season.A matchup against a beatable Pittsburgh Steelers secondary should make Carr a top-10 play next week.Michael CrabtreeCrabtree is back on track.After going three games without 100 yards or a receiving touchdown, Crabtree has reached the end zone in back-to-back weeks. That said, owners should use caution when evaluating Sunday's performance.Like Holmes, Crabtree benefited from Darrelle Revis' shadowing of rookie sensation Amari Cooper. As a result, Crabtree was able to torch Antonio Cromartie while racking up his second-most targets of the season.Crabtree has topped 50 yards in four straight weeks, so he can offer owners a decent floor. Against Pittsburgh, the Raiders' No. 2 wideout can serve as a low-end WR2 or solid flex play.Andre HolmesOwners shouldn't be fooled by Holmes' big day, which included a 49-yard touchdown grab in the second quarter and a five-yard score in the opening frame.Revis held Cooper in check to the tune of five catches for 46 yards, and Holmes made good on his only two catches of the afternoon.Therein lies the problem: Holmes doesn't receive enough targets to warrant a waiver-wire pickup. Crabtree led Oakland in targets with 12, and Cooper came in a solid second with nine.Prior to Sunday's win, Holmes hadn't recorded a catch since Week 3 against the Cleveland Browns. Furthermore, he saw four total targets in the four games leading up to Oakland's victory over New York.
