SUPER Eagles of Nigeria skipper Joseph Yobo has identified poor playing surface as one factor that could hinder the team from playing well at home.Yobo, who missed out of the last three matches of the Eagles due to injury, expressed worries over the state of most of the pitches in Ngeria which he said are not good enough for players to exhibit their skills."We are gradually getting to our target as a team. Coach Stephen Keshi is doing his job but we need good pitches to be at our best,'' Yobo said after watching the Eagles fly over the WASPS of Rwanda in a 2013 AFCON qualifier played in Calabar last weekend."Yobo who described the weather in the Canaan City as fair to the foreign based players compared to that of other places in the country believes that the bumpy nature of the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar to a larger extent affected the performance of the players adding. "Give us good pitch and you will see a better team.''Speaking on the outcome of the encounter against the Rwandans, the Fernabahce of Turkey defender praised the Eagles for qualifying for the next round of the qualifying series saying that by the time the team returns in September for the next match, the players will be in their best form because the season would be on in Europe by then.
