Okpala warns Eagles

ALTHOUGH many Nigerians feel relieved that the Super Eagles have avoided a difficult foe in the final round of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, coaches of the team see Liberia as a force to reckon with.Assistant coach, Sylvanus Okpala while reacting to the draw which pitched the Eagles against Lone Stars who are yet to record a single win over Nigeria, said that there will be no room for over-confidence."I know people are relieved that we got Liberia, but I can assure you that they will be no walk-overs," he said.'For them to be here, means they deserved it."These two games will be different from the last time we met. And we must play them with respect and treat them as strong opponents.The former International stated the the importance of approaching the two-legged match with utmost seriousness, asserting that Nigeria cannot afford to miss out of the Nations Cup for the second consecutive time."Our goal is to qualify for the Nations Cup, and everybody has to work hard and stay focused for us to do that,'' Okpala noted.
