ITAN tasks minister on moving ICT industry forward

The Information Technology (Industry) Association of Nigeria (ITAN) has tasked the Minister of Communication Technology, Omobola Johnson on moving the sector forward, listing job creation and capacity building, eGovernment and local content as some of the critical ingredients to achieving the Transformational Agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan. At an interactive dinner session in Lagos, ITAN through its new exco headed by Florence Seriki, had assured the minister of the harmonization that had taking place among all Information Communications Technology (ICT) stakeholders and the preparedness of the industry to address its challenges with one voice.
