Awolowo, others for MTN Lagos Street Soccer 2nd round

AWOLOWO Way is among the first set of teams that has advanced to the second round of the season five of the MTN Lagos Street Soccer Championship.From Ifako Ijaiye Local Council, Awolowo Way, including streets such as Oladosu, Olutoyese, J. O. Emmanuel, Oladejo, Aranse, Nationwide and Toba Oke at the weekend secured their places in the second stage of the money-spinning tournament.Also from Oto Awori Local Council, S/2 Road All Stars and Peculiar Street confirmed their spots in the next stage of the competition.According to the Local Organising Committee (LOC), the first week of the tournament has been successful as matches were played at 24 match venues across the five divisions of Lagos State.This weekend, matches continue at twenty match venues, while registered teams are implored to check and collect their licenses at the secretariat in Teslim Balogun Stadium.
