Federation Cup: Prime sets sight on title

THE Executive secretary of Osogbo Local Government, Aderibigbe Isiaka Faramade has attributed the impressive form of Prime Football Club in the ongoing Federation Cup to the support of the Osun State government."You can see that Prime FC took the game to another level against Rangers because of the support given to the team by the state governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, who was particularly behind the team to succeed."Our target is to lift the Federation Cup, not just in this group. We want to emerge victorious out of the remaining sixteen teams," he said.Skipper of the team Waheed Olapade also said that the team has resolved to keep the momentum.''Beating a team like Rangers was a no- mean feat and it has really become the tonic needed to ginger us.Therefore, we have set a target for ourselves and that is to win all our group matches,'' he said.Speaking further, he said. ''Today, we are meeting Dynamite Force, a very good team. We will not underrate them but we will put in our best to secure a win and book our place in the quarter final,' he added.
