Senator charges constituents on Ramadan

The Senate Deputy Majority Whip and Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Hosea Agboola a.k.a Alleluyah, has charged Muslims in towns across the 13 local governments which made up the constituency, to use the Ramadan season to pray for Nigeria.Making the disclosure recently while distributing food materials comprising rice, beans and beverages to Muslims across Oke Ogun and Ogbomoso zones of Oyo State, Senator Agboola called on Muslims in the constituency as well as the country to pray for peace and unity in the country, saying Nigeria and its leaders needed prayers now more than any other period."Let me use this occasion to congratulate Muslims in my constituency and all over the country on witnessing another Ramadan season. I pray that God will accept all your prayers and acts of worship. I am also calling on Islamic faithful to continue to intercede for the land, the country needs all the prayers it can get. As your representative, I am giving these provisions to assist you in this Holy Season, while assuring that I will continue to do my best in attending to the welfare of my constituents," he said.Senator Agboola further charged Muslims and adherents of other religions in the country to continue to live together as one, saying peace and harmony were necessary if the country would move forward.
