You're here to win, Ekeji reminds athletes

The atmosphere was charged. The colours of Green, White, Green dominated the Hall, venue of the meeting. The silence was palpable when Chef de Mission of Team Nigeria, Dr Patrick Ekeji spoke.He was blunt when he said they were here in the Olympics to win.''We're here in the Olympics to win. We're here to give our best for our country to succeed. Your success comes first before the country. You must put aside differences if indeed you want to excel. In a team, there are no individuals. You must be united to achieve results.The difference between the first and last person on the track could be as a result of discipline. You must be disciplined. We wish you well and know that you have what it takes to write your names in the annals of history'', Ekeji said.
