TRACE Olympics competition winner hails MultiChoice

THE winner of the 2012 Trace Sport competition, Joseph Faulkner, has commended the management of MultiChoice Nigeria and Trace Sport for giving him the opportunity to travel to London to witness the OlympicGames live.Faulkner, who won the Identify the Star TRACE SportCompetition, a programme designed to reward loyal subscribers of DStv, said he was quick to identity the image of Jamaican athlete, Usain Bolt, in the online quiz, adding, however, that he was very surprised when he was told that he had won the competition.Speaking on arrival back in Lagos after his trip to the Olympics, Faulkner, who travelled with his wife, Olutobiloba Mofoluso Faulkner, said it was a dream come true for his family to have won the all-expense paid trip prize to the world's biggest sports festival.Speaking on the competition, the Managing Director of MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe, explained that the company and TRACE Sport designed the competition to reward DStv's loyal subscribers and sports lovers.'We want our subscribers to get the best quality and service in our subscription management process, and competitions of this nature is one of the ways we reward our loyal subscribers,' he remarked.Ugbe reiterated that MultiChoice Nigeria would remain steadfast in providing quality content to subscribers, while also investing massively in local content in a bid to enrich the viewing preferences of subscribers.'DStv remains the number one destination for pay-TV audiences in Nigeria and Africa in terms of variety of channels and genres and we will continue to remain loyal to subscribers by rewarding them from time to time,' he declared.Also speaking at the event, Head of Public Relations, MultiChoice Nigeria, Segun Fayose, noted the firm would continue to reward its loyal subscribers as well as contribute to the socio-economic development of its host community.He urged DStv subscribers to continue to look out for similar competitions throughout the year.
