Church fetes Isolo, Mafoluku, Oshodi residents

RESIDENTS of Isolo, Mafoluku, Oshodi and other communities in Lagos State were agog recently when King in Christ Power International Ministries organised a gala night for them.Speaking on how the gala night started, the General Overseer of the ministries, Dr Chidi Innocent Anthony, said it was in emulation of how Christ gathered the multitude together and fed them bread and fish, saying, 'I believe in sharing.'Dr Anthony also used the event to advise the leadership of the country to bring together, prophets who can be mouthpiece of God, saying this would provide an opportunity to pray against problems facing the country.Anthony, who is also a senior pastor, touched on a variety of issues, including gay marriage, saying, 'this evil arrangement from the pit of hell is gathering momentum. A man sleeping with a fellow man is an abomination. God in heaven frowns at it and I do not support it.'Commenting on location of churches in highbrow areas of Lagos, Dr Anthony said no matter where a was. 'It is not the number of houses, cars, or jets that matters, but salvation of souls,' he concluded.
