Zoe Saldana Brings Out TLC For Incredible 'No Scrubs' Performance On 'Lip Sync Battle

Published by Huffington Post on Wed, 15 Jun 2016

Thursday night's episode of "Lip Sync Battle" took us (briefly) back to 1999 and we have zero complaints.Zoe Saldana brought down the house with an epic rendition of TLC's famous hit, "No Scrubs." Though her costume, hair and dance moves would've been enough for a great performance, the actress brought out TLC's Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas and Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins for some kick-ass cameos. The third original member of TLC, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, died in a car crash in 2002. Not one to be outdone (or labeled a "scrub"), Saldana's "Star Trek" co-star Zachary Quinto wowed the crowd with a hilarious/insane/perfect rendition of Missy Elliott's "Get Ur Freak On."Wearing a bedazzled jean outfit, painted nails, silver jewels and a brilliant shade of red lipstick, Quinto was puttin' it down. LL Cool J literally could not keep his cool, either: Missy obviously approved of the performance, as she retweeteda clip of Quinto performing..@ZacharyQuinto has a few surprises in store for @ZoeSaldana! See more TONIGHT at a special time, 8/7c on @Spike. https://t.co/KOIJKF4eiA #LipSyncBattle (@SpikeLSB) June 9, 2016 Watch their full performances below.
