Akwaaba picks America's Paul Cohen as guest speaker

An American TravelTrade expert, MrPaul Cohen will be the guest speaker at this year's Akwaaba, an African Travel Market holding at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.The speaker who is the Chief Executive Officer of Partners Concept in Maryland United States, will speak with diverse industry players particularly travel practitioners, tourism bureaucrats including commissioners for tourism from all the states of the federation and the general public.Mr Cohen who has over 30 years experience in travel trade business has helped to develop travel businesses in many emerging tourism markets in Asia, the Mediterranean countries, Latin and South America.He is already coordinating with the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC), on strategies for Nigeria to attract the vast American tourist market.According to a statement from the office of the Director General of NTDC the event will be held on October 24, as part of the activities of Akwaaba which opens on Monday, October 22, 2012.Akwaaba, the African Travel Market which is a member of the International Tourism Trade Fairs Association and listed by United Nations World Tourism Organisation is also the only International Travel and Tourism Fair in West Africa.
