Glo hails Flying Eagles AYC qualification

LEADING Telecommunications Company, Globacom has congratulated the U-20 National team, Flying Eagles on its qualification for next year's African Youth Championships in Algeria. A statement from Globacom commended the Flying Eagles for defeating the Armajita of South Africa, thus giving the team a chance to defend the title it won in South Africa last year.'We salute the fighting spirit and doggedness of the team which saw it trouncing the South Africans by 4-2 aggregate over the two legs and urge the players to keep the flag flying', the statement added.Globa-com also praised the team for making Nigeria proud and looks forward to seeing it emerge as African Champions again.The Flying Eagles will participate in Africa Youth Championship in Algeria in March 2012.The top four teams in the championship will represent Africa at the 2013 U-20 World Cup holding in Turkey.
